Ha Long University welcomes and works with Mr. Takebe Tsutomu and his delegation

On the afternoon of July 24, Dr. Nguyen Duc Tiep, Rector of Ha Long University, along with representatives of offices and faculties of the university, had a working program with Mr. Takebe Tsutomu (Special Advisor to the Japan-Vietnam Parliamentary Friendship Alliance, Special Advisor to Ha Long University) and his delegation.

At the meeting, the two parties discussed the implementation of works related to the development of the Japanese Language and Culture Center in Ha Long University; Contents related to the exchange of lecturers and students between Ha Long University and partners in Japan through the connection of Mr. Takebe Tsutomu; The implementation of the survey content according to the requirements of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) program of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA); Plan in detail for the upcoming Vietnam Festival in Sapporo.

Ha Long University signs cooperation agreement with URIAH Company Limited

On the morning of July 17, Dr. Nguyen Duc Tiep (Rector) and representatives of units of Ha Long University had a working session with the delegation of URIAH Company Limited, led by Mr. Bui Trinh Dung (Director).

At the working session, the two parties discussed cooperation contents such as: supporting in communications for study abroad programs, enrollment, recruitment, supporting in facilities, receiving students/trainees for internships, introducing study abroad programs, scholarships and job opportunities for students in domestic and foreign enterprises, recruiting skilled workers for the international market.

Ha Long University and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) successfully organized a workshop on sharing Japanese language teaching methods

From July 11-12, Ha Long University collaborated with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and successfully organized a workshop on Japanese language teaching methods to share and improve Japanese language teaching methods to aim for the highest efficiency in studying.

The workshop had the presence of JICA volunteers and representatives of universities and colleges teaching Japanese language across the country, such as: Ha Long University, Hai Phong University, VNU University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU University of Languages and International Studies, University of Languages and International Studies – Hue University, University of Foreign Language Studies – The University of Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, Quy Nhon University, etc.

The workshop is an opportunity for JICA and universities and colleges teaching Japanese across the country to exchange and share Japanese teaching methods; update and exchange innovative methods to make Japanese teaching more effective. From that ground, it helps teachers and learners to access the language with ease, to enhance their understanding of the languages ​​and cultures of the two countries, which contributes to strengthening and further developing the Vietnam – Japan relationship.

Ha Long University attended the event “Cyber and digital as new perspectives in music performance – Training activity for teachers” in Brussels, Belgium, within the framework of the international project VIETMUS

From July 1 to July 6, 2024, the delegation of Ha Long University led by Dr. Nguyen Duc Tiep, Rector of Ha Long University attended the event “Cyber and digital as new perspectives in music performance – Training activity for teachers” within the framework of the VIETMUS project. The event was organized in Brussels, Belgium by the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel (School of Arts of the Erasmushogeschool Brussel).

The event was organized as an integrated Learning – Teaching – Training program, part of the Capacity building in Higher Education (CBHE) and Promoting Music Education in Universities in Vietnam (VIETMUS) projects funded by the Erasmus+. The VIETMUS project is funded by the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) under the powers delegated by the European Commission through the Erasmus+ funding programme. This is the first International Music Project in the fields of art in Vietnam, creating opportunities for training institutions that are members of the project in particular, and music training institutions in Vietnam in general, to access knowledge and skills in performing arts, modern musical instrument systems, and promote the capacity to deploy digital technology in training in the fields of art.
