On the morning of August 7, 2024, Ha Long University welcomed, worked and signed a cooperation agreement with Ha Long Education Development and Human Resources Supply Joint Stock Company.

Attending the working session were Dr. Nguyen Duc Tiep (Rector of Ha Long University), Dr. Vu Van Vien (Head of Faculty of Tourism), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Quy Giang (Head of Office of International Cooperation and Science Management), Dr. Le Anh Tu (Head of 1.   Office of Training), Mrs. Dao Thi Vuong (Deputy Head of Office of Political education and Pupil and Student Affairs) and representatives of units in the University. On the side of Ha Long Education Development and Human Resources Supply Joint Stock Company, there were Mr. Nguyen Quang Duc (Chairman of the Board of Directors), Mr. Nguyen Van Dat (Director) and representatives of the Company’s Board of Directors.

At the working session, Dr. Nguyen Duc Tiep expressed his warmest welcome to the leaders of Ha Long Education Development and Human Resources Supply Joint Stock Company. The Rector introduced to the delegation the process of establishment, construction and development as well as the fields of training, scientific research and the worldwide cooperation network of Ha Long University.

2024 is the year marking the 10th anniversary of the establishment of Ha Long University. Up to now, the scale of education of the University is tremendous, with over 7,000 students and tens of thousands of training and fostering classes every year with 22 undergraduate training majors and 3 Master training majors. The number of teaching staff is over 300. The facilities have received a significant investment. The important mission and task of Ha Long University is to train and to supply high-quality human resources, so as to directly serve the development of Quang Ninh province and the whole region. By 2024, Ha Long University has provided over 8,000 graduates – who then became a high-quality workforce – to the labor market

At the Working Program, the leaders of the two units exchanged, discussed and agreed on a number of contents related to the supply of high-quality human resources among Ha Long University students to domestic and international units and enterprises, through the support of Ha Long Education Development and Human Resources Supply Joint Stock Company. The exchange, discussion and signing of a cooperation agreement will open up great opportunities for the sustainable development of both parties.

At the end of the working session, Dr. Nguyen Duc Tiep (Rector of Ha Long University) and Mr. Nguyen Van Dat (Director of Ha Long Education Development and Human Resources Supply Joint Stock Company) signed a cooperation agreement between the two units in a joyful, sincere and goodwill atmosphere.

The signing of cooperation agreements with many units continues to demonstrate the growth in prestige and stature of Ha Long University after 10 years of establishment and development.
