Overview of the Meeting

PUM (Programma Uitzending Managers), established in 1978 by the Dutch Association of Entrepreneurs and Industry, is a non-profit organization that provides free expert advice and support. With over 3,200 experts and 1,700 volunteers operating across 150 representative offices in more than 30 countries, PUM has assisted over 40,000 companies worldwide. Since its inception, PUM has shared its knowledge in over 45 fields with more than 1,600 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and vocational education organizations in developing countries.

Ha Long University has previously hosted three experts from PUM, including two in tourism and one in environmental management.

Looking ahead, Ha Long University expressed our interest in welcoming a PUM expert specializing in Event Management, particularly focusing on organizing tourism events during the off-season, a critical area for the tourism industry in Quang Ninh Province. This training will not only enhance the expertise of faculty members but also improve the quality of education in the Faculty of Tourism.
