The Master's program in Tourism and Hospitality Management at Ha Long University equips students with a solid theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and the necessary competencies to effectively assume various senior management positions. The program is designed to provide students with access to in-depth knowledge about tourism, such as digital transformation leadership, lean management, service management, travel management, and sustainable management. It also helps enhance awareness and address issues arising in the execution of political tasks and business operations. Graduates can pursue a Doctorate in Economics.

Learning Outcomes:

Upon graduation from the Master's program in Tourism and Hospitality Management at Ha Long University, students will achieve the following knowledge, skills, and attitudes:

Knowledge: Students will have a comprehensive understanding of general management and specialized knowledge related to economics, culture, and society in managing tourism and hospitality services in the context of the rapid development of the tourism industry in Vietnam, the region, and internationally.

Skills: Students will be able to apply the above knowledge as managers in the field of tourism and hospitality services: analyzing, evaluating, planning, controlling, and leading, as well as having the ability to conduct independent research.

Attitude: Students will demonstrate business ethics in the modern era, the ability to adapt in a diverse and dynamic business environment in the tourism and hospitality industry, and a motivation for lifelong learning.

Duration of Study:

The total duration of the program is 18 months. Depending on individual circumstances, the time to study until successfully defending the thesis may be extended to a maximum of 3.5 years.

 Total Credit Load for the Program: 60 credits.
