As part of the implementation plan of the project "Developing Education in Vietnam and Cambodia enhancing Employability for Students" (DEVICES), on the afternoon of June 27, 2025, Ha Long University held a working session with stakeholders involved in Work Package 2 and Work Package 6 of the project.

Attending the session were members of the DEVICES Project Management Board at Ha Long University, as well as lecturers and students from the Faculty of Environment, Department of Economics, Faculty of Tourism, Faculty of Education, and Faculty of Arts.

The working session focused on three main topics:

  • Providing an overview of the DEVICES project;

  • Presenting the analysis report and recommendations in Deliverable D2.1 of Work Package 2, related to the development of an electronic portfolio (e-portfolio) platform;

  • Conducting group discussions with the participation of lecturers, students, and specialists to refine the e-portfolio platform in accordance with practical needs in education and career orientation.Assoc. The program was conducted in a serious, proactive, and effective manner. Feedback from students and lecturers was compiled to serve as the basis for adjustments and improvements to the upcoming project deliverables.

The DEVICES project is funded by the Erasmus+ Programme under the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA). The project aims to improve the quality of higher education to meet the practical needs of the labor market, enhance student employability through digital skills and technological competencies, and promote inclusive, equitable, and competency-based education. Ha Long University is one of the active member institutions in the project, with a strong commitment to improving education quality aligned with real-world labor demands.

This working session not only provided an opportunity for the university to share progress and outcomes of the project but also demonstrated Ha Long University's proactive and responsible role in international cooperation activities. It also gave students a valuable chance to access modern career development tools, contributing to enhanced employability after graduation.
